Allison is a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina, with experience in medical and community-based practice. She has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, depression, self-harm, anxiety, family dynamics, parenting difficulties, and mood disorders. Due to the increased need for trauma-oriented therapy, she has completed additional coursework in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition, Allison has become an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider in hopes of supporting diagnosis-specific education, understanding, and skills to improve overall well-being.
Allison's counseling style is warm, accepting, and collaborative. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered and humanistic, combining the modalities of cognitive behavioral therapy; solution-focused therapy; motivational interviewing; acceptance and commitment therapy; internal family systems; and mindfulness techniques. She will tailor your treatment plan to encompass your unique needs in your present mindset, while also providing opportunities for self-discovery and personal evolution.
It takes incredible courage to pursue personal truth and growth outside of your comfort zone, and you have already taken the first step. If you feel you are ready to continue, she would be honored and excited to support you in your journey.
