Allison is a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina, with experience in medical and community-based practice. She has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, self-harm, anxiety, family dynamics, parenting difficulties, personality, and mood disorders. Due to the increased need for trauma-oriented therapy, she is currently in the process of acquiring certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Allison's counseling style is warm, accepting, and collaborative. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered and humanistic, combining the modalities of cognitive behavioral therapy; solution-focused therapy; motivational interviewing; acceptance and commitment therapy; and mindfulness techniques. She will tailor your treatment plan to encompass your unique needs in your present mindset, while also providing opportunities for self-discovery and personal evolution.
