Jane Roberts is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and seasoned healthcare professional who has experience working with adults, teens and children, in both individual and group settings. She works primarily with individuals with anxiety and depression, as well as autism. She also enjoys working with couples and families, especially related to parenting issues. Utilizing evidence based therapeutic interventions and psycho-education, Jane promotes knowledge and awareness of feelings and behaviors, while increasing positive coping skills and self-esteem. Her focus is client-centered and trauma informed. Jane is committed to creating a positive and warm therapeutic experience for her clients.
Jane has specialized training in Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She draws from the Systems Theory, to create an awareness of the complex systems that can influence behavior to empower clients to make lasting change.
Jane earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Albion College and her Master of Social Work at the University of Denver. Jane has additional training in autism from UNC TEEACH and healthcare experience from training at TUFTS.
