Wendy works with adults of all ages who are navigating significant life shifts, anxiety, depression, stress, grief or ADHD. In her practice, she implements a variety of therapeutic tools, including Cognitive Behavioral Theory and Psychoeducation. She also enjoys integrating the Myers-Brigg Personality Indicator into her work with clients.
Wendy brings a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, along with counseling and coaching experience in diverse settings, including SAS's Worklife department, a suicide hotline, and Wake County hospice. Her practice is enriched by 20 years of corporate recruiting experience and a lifetime of professional and personal transitions, which inform and deepen her work with clients.
Practicing social work as a LCSW-A is a new chapter for her. With high school graduation on the horizon for her kids, she began to reflect on the next step in her journey. Driven by a profound interest in human behavior and a passion for helping others, she finds her return to social work deeply rewarding. Wendy has just completed an ADHD certification, and looks forward to sharing the latest ADHD research-driven techniques with her clients.
