Dr. Greene is a licensed psychologist who has provided psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and adults dealing with a variety of concerns, including life stress, relationship issues, depression and anxiety. She has worked with children and adolescents in school and private settings and she has worked with adults in outpatient and private settings. Currently, she primarily works with adults who confront anxiety, often triggered by current life, relationship and work situations and stresses. They partner with Dr. Greene to improve self-understanding and develop new coping strategies.
Dr. Greene is committed to providing clients with a warm, positive, non- judgmental and professional experience. Her therapeutic style blends Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy approaches. She uses a strengths-based focus and aims to understand clients’ perspectives and their points of view as related to their experiences. She uses a CBT framework and exercises to work with clients to challenge and change negative cognitive distortions and behaviors and to develop healthy coping strategies and problem-solving techniques, leading to improved mental health.
Dr. Greene earned her Bachelor’s degree at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA before going on to earn her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Psychology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
